# SDK Demo App Overview

The SDK Demo App is a runnable reference application that consumes the SDK White Label exactly as a real integration would. Use it as a living reference to see the SDK in action, before or during your own integration.

## What is the demo app

The demo app starts, asks for the SDK credentials, and initializes the SDK. It then exposes the main SDK capabilities through a simple menu: sale, refund, printing, and UI customization.

It is a complete, working integration rather than a set of snippets. Every call it makes to the SDK is the same call your own application would make. The order and the result handling are identical too.

<Callout type="note">

The demo app is not the official SDK documentation. It is a runnable example of how the SDK is consumed in practice. For the official SDK contract, see the [SDK White Label documentation](https://docs.globalgetnet.com/en/products/in-store-payments/getnet-toolbox?doc=sdk-wl-quick-start).

## How it works

The app separates the code you should copy from the code you should only borrow ideas from. One package holds thin wrappers around the SDK — those are the calls you need to integrate. The other holds the demo application itself: its interface, its state, its storage, and its dependency injection.

Each SDK capability sits behind a small interface. What matters for your integration is the body of each method, which holds the exact SDK call and nothing else. Country-specific behavior is isolated in its own source set, so the shared interfaces stay the same across markets.

Initialization is the one step every integration must do first, and the demo app drives it from a single client.

## Where it fits

Reach for the demo app when you want to see a behavior before you build it. It shows how the warm-up reports success, what a declined payment returns, and how a screen replacement looks.

It complements the SDK documentation rather than replacing it. The documentation defines the contract; the demo app shows one correct way to satisfy it. When the two disagree, the documentation wins.
